Getting started
- Sign up. Free, and it takes a couple of minutes. No card needed.
- Build your profile. Add some photos, write a bit about yourself. Stuck on what to say? There's a writing assistant built in if you want a hand. Verifying your ID is optional, but it earns you a badge that tells people you're genuinely you.
- Have a look around. Browse profiles, like the ones you're interested in, see who's interested in you.
- Say hello. Messaging and chat within the site are secure and encrypted. No personal information is revealed.
No app to download. Add it to your phone's home screen instead. It's one tap, it works like an app from there, and there are no updates to sit through.
How membership works
What's free, and what's not
Everything you actually need to meet people is free: a full profile, browsing, daily match suggestions, a set number of messages a day, and ID verification if you want it.
VIP removes the daily message limit, lets you see everyone who's liked you, and opens up more detailed search filters and a few private chat spaces.
VIP+ adds priority on top of that, so your profile gets shown to people first, more often.
Want a bit of extra visibility without upgrading? Super Match puts a message straight at the top of someone's inbox. Boost puts your profile in front of more people for a limited time. Both optional, both one-off if that's how you want to use them.

Likes, matches and messages
Like someone and they like you back, and that's a match. You can also message people directly. Want to make sure someone notices you? A Super Match jumps to the top of their inbox and is flagged, so they know it wasn't just a regular like.
Free accounts get a set number of messages a day, resetting daily. VIP takes that limit away.
Likes, matches, and messages all land in one notification screen, so you don't have to go digging to find out what's happened.
Trust & safety
How we keep this safe
Every profile goes through age checks before it's visible. ID verification is optional. It's the fastest way to show people you're genuinely you. Not keen on uploading ID? Our team can manually check and approve your profile instead.
We never show your real name or email address publicly. We only ever show roughly where you are: your nearest town, not your street or your exact location.
Block or report anyone in a couple of taps. Every photo and message gets checked, by software and by actual people, before it reaches you. If a conversation tries to move off the site early, to WhatsApp or texting, we'll flag it. That's one of the more common signs of a scam.

Meeting up safely
Meeting in person
Meet somewhere public, at least the first time. Tell a friend or family member where you're going and roughly when you'll be back. A video call first goes a long way if you want to check the vibe before committing to a coffee. And if something feels off, trust that. You don't owe anyone an explanation for leaving early.
In a smaller town that might be the local café rather than somewhere busy. The principle's the same: other people around, and someone who knows your plans.
Top questions and answers
Is it free?
Yes. Creating a profile and browsing are free, and you get a daily allowance of messages. VIP and VIP+ add extras if you want them later.
How is this different to Tinder or Bumble?
Everyone here is in New Zealand, so you're not wading through profiles from the other side of the world.
Is my information private?
Your real name and email address are never shown publicly. Other members see a username and your nearest town.
Do I need to verify my ID?
No, it's optional. It's a fast way to reassure other members you're genuine, and it comes with a badge on your profile.
What if someone's making me uncomfortable?
Block or report them straight away, right from their profile or your inbox. Our team reviews reports and acts on them.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It works in your browser, or add it to your home screen for something closer to an app.
